On Friday August 8th Vaccine protesters gathered for the first time across from The Abbey to peaceful protest their required proof of jab or negative covid test to enter. The Abbey is a well known gay bar and night club. Protesters encountered some aggressive gay men trying to go inside the business. A man struck a child protester and was later arrested.
A man exiting the bar pushed a protester down unprovoked. What makes it ok to hit somebody because you don't agree with them? This was a hate crime.
During the protest a group of protesters went across the street to maskless shop. But the store employees seemed to have been vaxxed with the delta variant going to their heads. Some of the employees could not handle seeing people shop freely without a mask and they called the cops on them, and employee called one protester "retarded" then they locked them out of the store while continuing to argue with the protesters outside
On Saturday August 7th Protesters gathered at The Abbey gay Bar & Restaurant in West Hollywood, CA for the second day in a row on Saturday night in support of Medical Freedom.
There were many drunk encounters throughout the night. A drunk man tried to fight the crowd of protesters with his Transgender girlfriend pleading with he non-violent crowd "Please don't hurt my friend" Another drunk woman attacked a female protester while another female protester had gum put in her hair.
